Mobile women are, first of all, women! We are interested in and involved in relationships and many of us are sexually active.

While mainstream media and publications are inundated with articles about sex and relationships, information for women in wheelchairs is almost non-existent. Stereotypes perpetuate the myth that disabled women have no such interests. In fact, for many years, little was even known about the female sexual response.

mobileWOMEN.org was formed by women in wheelchairs who want the latest information from leading experts in this overlooked, yet extremely important aspect of life. We will report recent research and share information about becoming a participant in clinical studies. Here we will create a comfortable environment where women in similar situations can share their experiences with intimacy, love, and fulfilling relationships.
